Privacy Policy

Overview

AETHERYTERADIO.COM (THE “SITE”) DOES NOT COLLECT OR SELL OR COLLECT PERSONAL INFORMATION. We receive limited account details only if you choose to log in with Patreon, and third parties collect certain information from your browser when you view ads from Google AdSense or embedded content from YouTube, Discord, and X.

This policy explains what that involves and what choices you have. By using the Site, you are agreeing to the terms set in this policy. In this policy, “we”, “us”, and “our” mean the Site and its staff, and the Site is operated from Washington State, USA. It is effective as of November 1, 2026. Our rules on copying content and acceptable use are in our Terms of Use.

Information we collect

WE DO NOT SELL, COLLECT, RENT, OR SHARE PERSONAL INFORMATION WITH ANYONE. The Site has no sign-up forms or comment sections, and the only account information we receive comes from Patreon login, described below.

Like most websites, our web host may automatically keep standard server logs, such as IP address, browser type, and the time of a request, for security and technical operation. We do not use these logs to identify or track individual visitors.

If you email us, we use your email address only to reply to you.

Logging in with Patreon

Some parts of the Site are available to Patreon members. When you choose to log in with Patreon, you are sent to Patreon to sign in and approve access. Patreon then shares limited information with us, which may include your name, email address, profile image, and membership status or tier, depending on the permissions you approve.

  • We use this information only to confirm your membership and give you access to member content.
  • We never see your Patreon password or payment details.
  • We may set a cookie in your browser to keep you logged in. You can delete it at any time in your browser settings.
  • We do not sell this information or share it with advertisers.
  • You can remove our access at any time from your Patreon account settings, and you can ask us to delete the information we hold about you.

Patreon’s own handling of your data is covered by the Patreon Privacy Policy.

We keep Patreon login information only as long as we need it to give you member access, and we follow Patreon’s data guidelines on how long it may be retained. We delete it when you remove our access or ask us to. We take reasonable steps to keep it secure, but no system is completely secure.

Google AdSense and advertising cookies

Google, as a third-party vendor, uses cookies and similar technologies to show ads on this Site. These let Google and its advertising partners serve ads based on your visits to this Site and to other sites on the internet.

Our Cookie Policy explains in more detail which cookies are used on this Site and why.

When an ad loads, Google may collect information such as:

  • Your IP address and cookie or device identifiers
  • Your browser type, device type, and language
  • The pages you view and how you interact with ads
  • Your approximate location, derived from your IP address

This data is collected and handled by Google, not by us. We do not receive it and cannot see it. We only see aggregated reports on how our ads perform, such as impressions and clicks.

To learn how Google uses data from sites that use its services, see How Google uses information from sites or apps that use our services and the Google Privacy Policy.

Embedded content from YouTube, Discord, and X

Some pages on the Site embed content from other services. When a page with an embed loads, that service may collect information about you directly, such as your IP address, device details, and cookie identifiers. We do not receive this data.

  • YouTube (Google): embedded videos may set cookies and collect viewing information when they load or play. See the Google Privacy Policy.
  • Discord: Discord widgets receive your IP address and device details when they load, and anything you do inside the widget is covered by Discord’s policy. See the Discord Privacy Policy.
  • X: Embedded posts may collect your IP address and cookie data, and X may use it to personalize content and ads. See the X Privacy Policy.

If you decline cookies or block third-party content, these embeds may not display.

Your choices

You can limit or turn off personalized advertising at any time. Opting out does not remove ads from the Site; the ads you see will just be less tailored to you.

Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland

If you visit from the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we ask for your consent before cookies or similar technologies are used to show personalized ads or to load embedded content from YouTube, Discord, and X. You can accept, decline, or change your choice at any time through the consent notice on the Site. Our legal basis for this processing is your consent.

Your rights in the EEA and UK

If the GDPR or UK GDPR applies to you, you have the right to access, correct, delete, or restrict the use of your personal data, to object to its use, and to receive a copy of it. You can withdraw consent at any time, and doing so does not affect earlier use. To exercise any of these rights, email admin@aetheryteradio.com.

We use Patreon login information to give you the member access you’ve requested. We use advertising and embed cookies only with your consent. You also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority if you have any concerns about our policies.

International transfers

The Site is operated from the United States, and Google, Patreon, YouTube, Discord, and X process data in the United States and other countries. Each provider is responsible for the safeguards that apply to its own transfers, and their policies, linked above, explain them.

Privacy rights for California and other US states

WE DO NOT COLLECT OR SELL PERSONAL INFORMATION. Residents of California and certain other US states may have rights to know, access, correct, or delete personal information, and to opt out of its sale or sharing. For the limited Patreon login information we hold, you can ask us to tell you what we have, correct it, or delete it by emailing admin@aetheryteradio.com

Some state laws treat advertising cookies, such as those used by Google AdSense, as “sharing” or “targeted advertising.” You can opt out of personalized ads using the tools listed under Your choices above. For data Google holds, you can also manage your information through your Google account or the Google Privacy Policy.

You can also contact us using the details below with any privacy request, and we will respond within the time required by law. We will not treat you differently for exercising your privacy rights.

Children’s privacy

The Site is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us at admin@aetheryteradio.com and we will delete it.

Third-party links

The Site may link to other websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their privacy practices, so please read their policies.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the effective date at the top. Please check back occasionally.
